Decorating a child's room is a responsible task, because the result will be subject to the most careful assessment by the little "inspector".
Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, spoke about the taboos that should be taken into account in this troublesome process.
So, the expert advises to avoid decorating the room in any theme – be it Masha and the Bear, Spiderman or Cinderella.
Not only fashion changes at the speed of light, but also your baby's interests, so this decision can safely be called short-sighted. After a year, you will have to do the renovation all over again.
It is worth saying a firm “no” to furniture that imitates objects – whether animate or inanimate (this also includes, by the way, a bed in the shape of a car).
Instead of confusing reality with fiction, try to create a healthy atmosphere in the bedroom for your child.
Likewise, you should reject the idea of a riot of colors. The bedroom is, first and foremost, a place for rest, and your child will probably find it difficult to relax in a room of all the colors of the rainbow.
A correct children's bedroom from a design point of view is stylish, with a calm color scheme, without flashy elements and fairy-tale motifs.
