How to Use Windowsill Space to Your Advantage: Interesting Ideas
The windowsill in a typical city apartment is, at best, a greenhouse that periodically turns into a vegetable garden.
However, this part of the living space can be used to its maximum potential if you break away from stereotypes. Here are some interesting ideas.
1. If this is a kitchen, then instead of paint you can decorate the window sill with ceramic tiles and then you can get an additional surface where you can put kitchen utensils, or turn it into a popular bar counter, or even better, into a dining table.
2. The windowsill in the living room or study can be used as a bookshelf, but not in the sense of simply putting a stack of literature on it. A little imagination - and here you can fit a stand, a table lamp, an inkwell, and a comfortable chair nearby.
3. Boudoir. In the bedroom, if desired, you can use this area to the maximum for applying makeup and instead of a dressing table. By slightly increasing the area of the window sill, you can install a mirror and other accessories.
4. Universal. And as an option that will suit any room, this is a recreation area. But in this case, the window sill should not be higher than 50 and narrower than 60 cm. Again, having increased the area, you can decorate it with pillows and put a blanket.
