Expert of the online publication Belnovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, told what to pay attention to so that the purchased furniture does not turn out to be disposable.
1. Growing furniture
Contrary to popular belief, not only other people's children grow up quickly, but also your own. Therefore, in order to avoid having to buy the same pieces of furniture, but in different sizes, give preference to transformable tables and chairs.
2. Removable covers
During use, the upholstery of any upholstered furniture gets dirty, and cleaning, although it is an effective method of combating stains, contributes to the fact that over time the appearance of chairs and sofas deteriorates. There is a way out - buy removable covers or at least throw bedspreads on the furniture.
3. Spare parts
It is difficult to imagine what we would do if responsible sellers did not supply various fittings, bolts or nuts with the furniture. If we are talking about upholstered furniture, sometimes you can find a piece of upholstery fabric with the product - it is convenient to take it with you when you go to choose other interior items.

Modular furniture can be called a kind of “constructor” that can be changed as desired – rearranged, new elements can be purchased or old ones can be gotten rid of.
5. Multifunctional furniture
When choosing furniture, give preference to that which can perform several functions at once. For example, a sofa bed will fit perfectly in any room, which will serve as a place to sit and, if necessary, allow guests to stay overnight.
