As you know, the kitchen is one of the main rooms in the house, which is used not only as a place for cooking, but also as a dining room, where all the family gathers every day.

For this reason, the interior of the premises should be not only cozy, but also practical, says Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti.

To achieve this goal, you should become familiar with the most common mistakes that apartment owners make when decorating their kitchen, in particular, upper cabinets.

So, you should not install the side strips that are on the lower facades at the top.

The only time this solution is really needed is with very crooked walls, but it's unlikely you'll encounter that problem over such a long distance.

Also, you should not use very low cabinets - such a solution will spoil the visual perception of the kitchen. The height of upper cabinets recommended by experts is at least 1000 mm.

One of the most common mistakes is trying to join the top row of cabinets to the bottom row - this is not only pointless, but also unsightly.

The explanation is simple: the lower and upper facades are located in different planes due to their different depths, which in the first case is 600 mm, and in the second – 300 mm.

In this regard, the "docking" loses all meaning. The main thing is that there are equal identical facades on top, experts believe.
