A casserole is not always a lot of flour, semolina or cottage cheese. Casseroles can also be vegetable or fruit.
Autumn is the perfect time to make an apple casserole that doesn't contain a single gram of flour.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook.
1. Peel the apples, remove the core, cut into cubes, divide into two portions, and boil most of the apples in a saucepan with a small amount of water for 10 minutes.
2. When ready, cool them and make puree from them.
3. Add sour cream, eggs, starch, sugar, spices and mix the mixture until smooth.
4. Add the remaining chopped apples, mix, transfer to a baking dish and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes.
After it cools down, transfer the casserole to a plate and serve, sprinkled with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
