Don't be upset! The pot with the cooked vegetable can be put in the refrigerator to reheat the nightshade a few hours later: it will turn out to be a very tasty dinner.

There is another interesting option: in a few hours (or even in 1-2 days) you can make delicious potato pancakes from the uneaten side dish.

They are much tastier than the potato pancakes that many gourmets are accustomed to.

And all thanks to the presence of interesting additional ingredients. We are talking about milk and feta cheese.

The recipe for an appetizing and unusual dish was shared by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.

Potato pancakes recipe

Use a potato masher to process the remaining potato garnish.

Salt and pepper the base, add 450 grams of flour, one raw egg and half a glass of sour milk. All indicators are for one kilo of vegetable mass.

Next, chop one onion and fry it.

Mix the potato-egg-flour mixture thoroughly and add the heated onion and 70 grams of chopped feta cheese.

Knead the resulting dough. If it becomes too sticky, add a little flour.

Next, form several flat cakes from this base and fry them in a frying pan: a couple of minutes on each side. The fire should be medium.

As a result, you will get very tasty and tender potato "pancakes". Enjoy your meal!
