Maybe we should give up this culinary tradition? After all, there are other delicious salads.

First of all, we are talking about a dish called "Mistress".

This salad is good because it has an interesting sweet and spicy flavor combination. In addition, the dish is juicy.

Considering all of the above, the dish “Mistress” can easily replace the usual New Year’s salads.

The recipe for this salad was shared by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.

“Mistress” salad recipe

The salad is layered, so you will need either a culinary ring with a flat dish or a plate with high sides.

To start making the dish, prepare the raisins. Pour boiling water over one glass of dried grapes and leave for 10 minutes.

Next, grate three carrots. Use the side of the grater that has small "drops". The root vegetables should be raw.

Mix the resulting mass with the previously prepared raisins. The result will be a mixture that will act as the first layer of the salad.

The following layers should be next:

  • 100 grams of grated cheese + grated whites of three boiled eggs + 3 grated garlic cloves;
  • 2 grated boiled beets + a handful of walnuts (they should be chopped);
  • chopped yolks of three boiled eggs.

Use mayonnaise as intermediate layers.

The finished dish should be left to stand. Place the plate with the salad on one of the shelves of the refrigeration unit. The dish should be there for 120 minutes.
