How to make meat salad "Kupechesky": it turns out very satisfying

It is considered good manners to serve three types of salad. One of them must be fish, the second meat, and the third - the hostess's signature dish.

As for meat salads, it is not necessarily Olivier or chicken with pineapple.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - cook, fourth-category baker told how to prepare the "Merchant" salad with pork.

You will need:

  • meat 200-300 g;
  • carrots 2 pcs;
  • onion 1 pc;
  • sugar 1 tbsp;
  • vinegar 1 tbsp;
  • canned peas 200 g;
  • mayonnaise 2-3 tbsp.

How to cook

1. Place the meat (pork without fat) in boiling water and cook under a lid until done, then cool.

2. At this time, peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes.

3. Fry the carrots in vegetable oil until soft, then cool.

4. Pour vinegar over the onion, add sugar and a little salt and leave for 10 minutes.

5. Cut the meat into cubes, drain the marinade from the canned peas.

Place the ingredients in a salad bowl, season with mayonnaise, mix, cool and serve. Enjoy!
