The most delicious tomatoes can be preserved for the winter if you add natural honey to the recipe.

They say that no matter how many of these preparations you make, there will still not be enough in winter.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - a cook, fourth-class baker told how to cook.

You will need:

  • tomatoes 4 kg;
  • honey 1 tbsp;
  • salt 50 g;
  • sugar 200 g;
  • vinegar 2 tbsp;
  • cloves 5 pcs;
  • cinnamon 0.25 g;
  • allspice 5 pcs;
  • garlic to taste
  • tomato juice 3 l.

How to cook

1. You can make tomato juice yourself or use store-bought. Add spices and cook for 30 minutes.

2. Wash the tomatoes, peel the garlic and place them in sterile jars.

3. At the end of cooking, add vinegar to the tomato juice and pour the hot marinade over the tomatoes in the jars.

4. Place them in a pot of water and sterilize for 30 minutes, then roll them up and once the preparations have cooled down, put them away for storage.
