Tired of shchi and borsch? No problem! There are many other delicious soups.

An example is the first dish called "Lohikeitto".

Every gourmet simply must try this masterpiece of Finnish cuisine.

The dish is a fish soup, the main ingredients of which are salmon and cream.

The recipe for this luxurious and incredibly appetizing dish was shared by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.

How to make Finnish lohikeitto soup

First, cut the leeks (2 pieces) into half rings.

Next, wash, peel and cut one and a half kilograms of potatoes into cubes.

Take a saucepan, throw 40 grams of butter into it and place the container on the switched on burner.

Once the butter has melted, pour the previously chopped leeks into the pan.

Fry the vegetable for five minutes. During this time, stir the contents of the container with a spatula.

Once the time is up, pour plain water (1.5 liters) over the onions.

Immediately after this, pour in the previously poured raw potatoes.

Salt the contents of the pan and throw one bay leaf into the container.

As soon as the liquid starts to boil, cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to low and wait for a quarter of an hour.

Next, add one liter of 30% cream and half a kilo of diced salmon to the future dish.

Once the contents of the pan come to a boil again, set a timer for 5 minutes.

When the soup is ready, remove the bay leaf.

You can add dill to the dish: it will be more beautiful and tastier. Enjoy your meal!
