Another "Shuba" on the New Year's table: a recipe for a very filling salad

New Year is a reason to cook some classic dishes and certainly please your guests and family with something new.

Therefore, together with “Herring under a fur coat” you can prepare another winter salad called “Bear's fur coat”.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - a cook, fourth-class baker told how to cook.

You will need:

  • chicken breast (cold smoked) 400 g;
  • carrots 250 g;
  • onion (red) 120 g;
  • garlic 2 cloves
  • eggs 4 pcs;
  • cheese 150 gr;
  • walnuts (kernels) 50 g;
  • mayonnaise for dressing.

How to cook

1. Put the hard-boiled eggs and carrots on to boil.

2. Peeled walnuts should be fried in a dry frying pan for 3-4 minutes and chopped with a knife.

3. Cut the chicken breast into cubes, mix with chopped garlic, season with mayonnaise and form the first layer of the salad using a split ring.

4. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes and place on top of the first layer.

5. Then add the eggs grated on a coarse grater and cover with mayonnaise.

6. Grate the boiled carrots and lay out the next layer.

7. Then remove the ring, grease the salad on all sides with mayonnaise, sprinkle with grated cheese and nut crumbs.

Cool and serve. Enjoy!
