It is hard to imagine a New Year's table without sandwiches with red caviar.
This snack is good both for its pleasant appearance and its appetizing taste.
However, few people prepare the dish correctly.
It would seem that everything has been known for a long time: you need to cut a loaf of bread, grease the slices with butter and add caviar.
But it's not that simple. There is one more action that is desirable to perform.
Yulia Arkhipova, an expert in the field of cooking, a chef and a fourth-class baker for the online publication Belnovosti, spoke about an additional “procedure” that improves the taste of the traditional New Year’s snack.
Don't rush to spread butter on sliced bread.
First, place the slices in a preheated dry frying pan.
Fry each piece of loaf/baguette: a few minutes on each side.
As a result, a beautiful golden crust will appear on the surface of the slices.
Wait until the pieces removed from the pan have cooled.
After that, you can spread butter on them and put caviar on them.
Your family and guests will be delighted with the finished snack dish: they will be pleasantly surprised by the crunch and very bright taste.
