How to cook "lazy" herring under a fur coat: a delicious appetizer in 5 minutes

Although herring under a fur coat is loved, it is not prepared often, since the process of preparing this dish cannot be called fast.

With a recipe from the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, you can consider this problem solved: now cooking will not take more than 5 (at most 7) minutes.

To do this you will need:

  • Boiled beetroot – 1 medium root vegetable;
  • Hard-boiled eggs – 5 pieces;
  • Herring fillet – from one fish;
  • Onions - half a medium head;
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves (to taste);
  • Mayonnaise - for dressing;
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

First of all, start chopping the onion, which should be marinated in a solution of equal amounts of 50% vinegar and water. Add salt, pepper and other spices.

The eggs need to be peeled, cut in half and the yolks separated from the whites.

Half of the herring should be cut into pieces 1-2 centimeters in size, and the remaining part should be chopped with a knife.

Grate the beetroot on a fine grater and mix with the yolks, beetroot, pickled onions, garlic, diced herring and mayonnaise.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until you get a homogeneous mass, then fill the egg white halves with it and place the fish slices on top.

If desired, you can decorate the appetizer with herbs.
