Few people know that cucumbers can be the basis for very healthy drinks.
At one time, cucumber water was popular among healthy lifestyle advocates: the vegetable was simply cut into slices and infused in liquid.
However, it is possible to make the drink much tastier and healthier, says Yulia Arkhipova, an expert on culinary issues at the online publication BelNovosti.
- two medium-sized cucumbers;
- one small lemon;
- two glasses of filtered water;
- a couple of spoons of liquid honey.
Anyone can easily prepare the drink. You will need to wash the cucumbers, chop them into pieces and put them in a blender bowl, grind them.
Then we use gauze to filter the cucumber mass. Add lemon juice, water and serve with honey.
As you can see, the composition contains very useful components, thanks to which the body is saturated with vitamins. The drink also has a wonderful detox effect.
It can also be chilled and used as an alternative to lemonade.
