Boiling eggs is considered a very simple culinary procedure.

But removing the shell from a finished dish often turns out to be quite a difficult task.

It often happens that the hard shell almost “sticks” to the protein.

As a result, it becomes almost impossible to peel boiled eggs so that they retain an appetizing appearance and smooth surface.

However, there is one little trick that makes removing the shell easier.

To do this, you need to use one simple additive while boiling eggs.

An interesting “trick” was told about by the expert of the online publication “Belnovosti” in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.

What to add to water when boiling eggs

Baking soda should appear in the bubbling liquid.

One tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate should be enough.

This additive will cause the hard shell of heat-treated eggs to become brittle.

It will be very easy to remove such shells from eggs.

By the way, you can use table salt instead of soda. This product will create an alkaline environment. As a result, the shell, again, will lose its hardness.

Don't overdo it with sodium chloride. A couple of pinches will be quite enough.
