What to make from apples for the winter: delicious puree instead of boring jam

The recipe for delicious applesauce with condensed milk, which can be preserved for the winter instead of jam, is gaining popularity among housewives.

There is no need to tell or prove to anyone how much delight this dessert will cause in children and adults.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook.

You will need:

  • apples - 2-2.5 kg;
  • condensed milk - 1 can;
  • water - 200 ml.

How to cook

1. Pay attention to the quality of the ingredients. Apples of any variety and size will do, but only fresh ones. Condensed milk should be natural and without unnecessary additives.

2. The apples need to be washed and the core removed.

3. Place them in a saucepan, add water, bring everything to a boil and cook until the slices are soft.

4. When ready, chop everything with a blender and add condensed milk to the puree.

5. Stir and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring to prevent burning. Bring to a boil and pour the puree into sterile, dry jars.

Cover with lids, turn over, and when cool, store in the refrigerator.
