As the doctor explained, buckwheat is a product that thickens the blood.

If you are prone to thrombosis, it is forbidden to combine buckwheat with fatty meat, canned food, smoked foods and alcohol.

All of the above also apply to products that thicken the blood. Also on this list are bananas, potatoes and sugar.

To prevent thrombosis, Kutyshov recommended giving up sweets, drinking enough water (at least 30 milliliters of water per kilogram of weight per day) and eating foods with anticoagulants: citrus fruits, berries, pomegranate, beets, garlic, onions, ginger, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, aloe juice.

The doctor emphasized that nutrition should be balanced in all respects.

Blood becomes thicker when there is a lack of proteins and amino acids, the specialist noted.

Therefore, according to Kutyshov, the diet must include eggs, dairy products, lean meats and sea fish.
