Many people go to barbecue with a classic set of sauces - mayonnaise and ketchup.
These are, of course, proven options, but there is nothing special about them.
The expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of cooking, chef Yulia Arkhipova, is sure that any store-bought sauce will lose to a homemade one.
- an incomplete glass of ketchup (with the most natural ingredients);
- 300 milliliters of water;
- a piece of butter (50 to 70 grams);
- three onions;
- five cloves of garlic;
- a couple of spoons of liquid honey;
- four spoons of lemon juice;
- a little cilantro, salt and pepper.
First of all, put butter in the frying pan. When it melts, add chopped onion. The vegetable should be cut into smaller pieces.
After it becomes transparent, add ketchup. Wait a couple of minutes and pour in water. Also add lemon juice with honey and wait 10 minutes.
Then add chopped cilantro and garlic, cook until desired consistency.
