How to Make Real Chicken Pie: Juicy and Creamy

It's hard to resist homemade pies, especially on an empty stomach and if the pie has a meat filling.

Here is just one of such recipes – a juicy chicken pie with a creamy taste.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook.

You will need:

  • store bought dough;
  • chicken - 750 g;
  • cottage cheese - 500 g;
  • bell pepper - 2 pcs.;
  • fresh herbs;
  • cheese, salt and spices to taste;
  • mineral water - 0.5 l;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp;
  • natural yogurt - 1 tbsp;
  • egg - 1 pc.

How to cook

1. Finely chop the chicken fillet, vegetables and herbs, grate the cheese and mix everything with the cream cheese.

2. In a separate bowl, mix mineral water with vegetable oil, add yogurt and egg, mix until smooth.

3. Grease a baking dish and lay out layers: dough, filling, sauce, dough again, but so that the last layer is dough, which can be greased with egg yolk.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the pie until done. Enjoy!
