When buying ice cream, most people pay attention only to its price. But is this an indicator of quality?

Therefore, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, believes that it is worth taking a closer look at what color natural ice cream should be and what exactly should be taken into account when choosing.

White

The white color of the ice cream is a sign that there are no artificial colors in the ice cream. Real milk and cream, from which high-quality ice cream is made, give the product a natural white shade.

However, it is worth considering that too bright a white color may indicate the use of bleaches or other chemical additives.

Cream shade

The slightly creamy shade of ice cream is also a sign of a natural product. This color is due to the use of natural cream and high-quality milk.

The creamy shade may vary depending on the fat content of the dairy products used.

What should be included in the composition

The main ingredients include the following.

1. Milk and cream are the base.

2. Sugar is needed for sweetening.

3. Various flavors. As much as you would like to, you can’t do without them.

If there is no milk in plombir, then what is the point of it? Such ice cream will not bring any benefit to the body, because only substitutes are used, which can even be dangerous.

What else to look for when choosing

There are a few more features that are worth taking into account.

1. Consistency and structure are also important indicators of its quality. Real ice cream should be uniform and creamy.

2. A quality ice cream should have a smooth and creamy texture. This indicates the correct production process and the use of natural ingredients.

3. Plombir should not contain ice crystals or large air bubbles. These signs indicate a violation of production technology or improper storage conditions.

4. The taste and aroma should be natural and pleasant. Artificial additives and flavors can spoil the impression of the product.

5. A quality product should have a rich taste of milk and cream. Flavor additives, such as vanilla, should be natural and not interrupt the main taste.

6. The aroma should be delicate and natural. A strong chemical smell indicates the presence of artificial flavors.

Of course, you should also be rational when choosing. High-quality ice cream cannot be inexpensive by default, because we are talking about a fairly complex production technology.
