It is not uncommon for the breading to simply fall off during frying. Therefore, it is worth figuring out how to bread chops so that the crust is golden.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to act in such a situation.

What is needed for cooking

The first step to creating a golden crust is choosing the right ingredients for breading. As a base, you can use:

1) flour;

2) eggs;

3) dry bread crumbs or breading mixtures.

Bread crumbs are ideal for a crispy texture, but breadcrumbs can also be used.

There is no point in stopping only at flour, because the result will remain the same.

Preparing meat for frying

Before you begin breading, the chops must be properly prepared.

They should be evenly pounded and of equal thickness to ensure even cooking and a good crust. You can also add salt and pepper for added flavor.

How to achieve a golden crust

• first of all, you need to prepare 3 different containers. Pour flour into the first, break eggs into the second, and pour bread crumbs into the third;

• the cutlet must first be thoroughly coated in flour;

• dip into egg;

• Roll in bread crumbs or breading mixture.

After this, you can start frying. The frying pan must be well heated, and only then add the chops.

It is necessary to fry no more than 3 minutes on each side. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the meat, so everything should be adjusted individually.
