Pesto sauce can safely be called one of the most colorful and famous: it is impossible to even imagine Italian cuisine without it.
Preparing it is not as difficult as it may seem at first glance.
However, you will have to prepare a list of necessary ingredients, warns Yulia Arkhipova, an expert in culinary matters for the online publication BelNovosti.
- about one hundred grams of fresh basil leaves;
- a clove of garlic;
- about two spoons of pine nuts;
- about 50 grams of cheese (parmesan);
- 2-3 tablespoons of quality olive oil;
- half a small spoon of salt.
First, it is worth sorting out the nuts. About 50% of the total mass is left raw, and the rest is carefully fried. Basil leaves are washed and dried.
The cheese should first be grated using a grater.
We send all the specified ingredients to the blender. You can chop the garlic with a knife beforehand. Then we start working with the blender.
