Everyone knows what draniki are. The people of the Carpathians are called Hutsuls.
But to taste a Hutsul dranik, you don’t have to go to another country or even leave your home.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare this dish.
1. Peel the potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater. Grate the onion on a fine grater.
2. Mix the ingredients and add a raw egg, sift the flour, add salt and pepper.
3. Mix and bake the potato pancakes in a preheated frying pan with fat or vegetable oil.
4. Next, chop the mushrooms (for example, champignons) and fry with onions until the moisture evaporates.
5. When ready, pour in cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes, then pour sauce over the potato pancake, sprinkle with grated cheese and herbs and serve. Enjoy!
