How to Make Ricotta Cheesecakes: An Airy Breakfast for the Whole Family

Syrniki are prepared without eggs, without flour, and now they offer to make them from ricotta instead of the cottage cheese that many are used to.

They say that this doesn’t make them any worse, but rather more airy.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to make ricotta cheesecakes.

You will need:

  • ricotta - 500 gr;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • flour (rice) - 120 g;
  • vanillin - 1/2 tsp;
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp;
  • sugar - 3 tbsp;
  • salt - 1/4 tsp.

How to cook

1. In a deep bowl, mix ricotta with sugar, salt and vanilla.

2. Then add the egg and beat vigorously.

3. Then mix the rice flour with baking powder and add to the mixture.

4. Knead the dough until it becomes a homogeneous mass, form the cheesecakes, and bread them in rice flour.

Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry until golden brown for 3-4 minutes on each side. Enjoy!
