How to cook stewed cheesecakes in sour cream sauce: not fast, but delicious

Syrniki are the most popular and sought-after dish that both adults and children are happy to see for breakfast.

But no matter how delicious they are, you can’t do without alternative recipes.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook stewed syrniki in sour cream sauce.

You will need:

  • cottage cheese - 500 g;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • semolina - 3 tbsp;
  • starch - 3 tbsp;
  • sugar - 50-70 g;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • vegetable oil;
  • sour cream - 3-4 tbsp. l.;
  • water - 100-150 ml.

How to cook

1. Mix cottage cheese with eggs, sugar, salt, add semolina, starch. Knead into a homogeneous mass, then form the syrniki in the usual way.

2. Heat a frying pan and fry the cheesecakes in vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes on each side.

3. Then put the syrniki in a saucepan. Mix sour cream with water, pour this sauce over the syrniki, cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!
