Lenten Olivier salad sounds a little strange even to the majority of cooks who came from the USSR.
But if the salad developed by the famous chef has undergone many changes over the course of its history, why not prepare a Lenten version?
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - a cook, fourth-class baker told how to prepare a Lenten Olivier salad.
1. Boil potatoes and carrots in their skins.
2. Cool the vegetables and cut into cubes.
3. Drain the marinade from the canned peas and add to the salad.
4. Peel and dice the avocado.
5. Chop the herbs, mix the ingredients and season with mayonnaise to taste.
Stir, refrigerate and serve. Enjoy!
