Today we will share with you a recipe for an interesting dish that is much tastier than chips and at the same time 100% safe, even, to some extent, healthy.
An expert from the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , shared it with us – and we are talking about the so-called “potato tongues”.
To pamper your family, you will need only two ingredients: potatoes and salt. If you want a more piquant taste, use your favorite spices - for example, smoked paprika, dried garlic or dill.
Before you start cooking, turn on the oven and let it preheat to 200-220 degrees.
After this, you can take on the potatoes - peel 2-3 potatoes, cut them into thin circles (approximately 5-6 mm thick or better 3-4 mm).
Pat the potato slices with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Sprinkle salt and spices on the paper, then arrange the potato slices in a single layer so that they do not touch each other.
Sprinkle more salt and spices on top and place the baking sheet in the oven.
After about five minutes of the potato tongues being browned, turn them over and leave them in the oven for another 3-5 minutes – they are ready, you can try them.
