No More Need for a Mantovarka: How to Cook Manti So They Are Even Tastier – and Faster

Manti is a popular dish of Eastern cuisine, which is usually steamed using a special pan called a mantovarka.

The cooking process usually takes about 40 minutes, says Yulia Arkhipova, an expert at the online publication BelNovosti.

However, there is a way to cook this dish faster and tastier without using a mantovar.

It turns out that you can do this in a regular frying pan.

First, fry the carrots and onions in a small amount of oil, add salt, pepper and spices to taste. If desired, you can also add a little tomato paste and broth for a richer taste.

Then you should put the manti on the frying pan, but not too tightly, so that they do not stick together. The broth should completely cover the manti.

Then cover the pan with a lid and cook the manti over low heat for 10 minutes.

This method of cooking allows you to get a tasty dish faster, without using a steamer, and, let's face it, it is much more convenient for most housewives.
