What to cook with Chinese cabbage: a recipe for a festive salad - fresh and light

A variety of salads can be made from Chinese cabbage, and all of them are light and fresh in taste.

You can even prepare an appetizer for the holiday table. You will get a very healthy and tasty salad of Peking cabbage, shrimp and pineapple.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare a light holiday salad.

You will need:

  • Peking - ½ head of cabbage;
  • shrimp - 300 g;
  • crab sticks - 200 g;
  • canned pineapples - 400 g;
  • mayonnaise (natural yogurt) - 3 tbsp;
  • salt to taste.

How to cook

1. Separate the cabbage into leaves, wash and cut out the hard veins.

2. Finely chop the leaves and place in a salad bowl.

3. Drain the syrup from the canned pineapples and cut into slices if necessary.

4. Boil and clean the shrimp, chop them finely together with the crab sticks.

Mix the ingredients and season to taste with natural yogurt or homemade mayonnaise.
