Many people don’t even suspect that beets can be cooked very quickly, literally in 7-10 minutes.

How to quickly cook beets
If rich flavor is not a priority, you can simply place washed and peeled beets in a bag on a plate and microwave them for 7 minutes.
If the goal is to get the taste as after cooking in a saucepan, do not peel the beets, but add 50 grams of water to the bag. Cooking time is 10 minutes.
The third method will require a little more effort and time, but the beets will turn out very tasty.
Wash the beets but do not peel them, make holes all over the root vegetable with a toothpick, put them in a bag, add a teaspoon of table vinegar (7-9%) and vegetable oil and put them in the microwave for 10 minutes.
After this time, take out the beets and check their readiness with a toothpick; cook more if necessary.
