But, according to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , there are several simple and effective methods that will help you cook eggs without cracks.
One method involves placing a clean towel on the bottom of the pot before you start boiling the eggs. This will help keep the egg from hitting the bottom and sides, which can cause it to crack.
Another option is to add half a tablespoon of salt to the pot while it is boiling. The salt helps create a denser environment in which the eggs are less likely to hit each other. Even if the egg cracks, the salt will help prevent the contents from leaking out.
The third method is to prick the egg with a pin or a thumbtack before boiling. This will allow air to get inside the egg and help the shell come off more easily when peeling.
