How to cook capelin deliciously and quickly: a recipe without hassle and bad smell

There is no need to tell you at length what smell fried capelin gives off. It seems that it is enough to simply defrost this fish and you can start airing out the apartment.

Now it's all in the past. With this clever recipe, you can cook your favorite dish whenever you want and not embarrass your neighbors for the terrible smell.

You will need:

  • capelin - 700 g;
  • flour - 1/2 cup;
  • salt, pepper, coriander to taste;
  • vegetable oil;
  • lemon.

How to cook

1. Defrosted fish should be gutted and washed. After completing the procedures, it should be dried on a paper towel.

2. To prevent the appearance of a bad smell, squeeze the juice from the lemon and process the fish, and then leave it like this for 15-20 minutes.

3. Then you can salt the fish, pour in vegetable oil and stir.

4. After 5 minutes, add flour, coriander, and black pepper to the bowl with the fish and mix.

5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the fish in one layer.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the capelin for 15 minutes.
