Broccoli is exactly the product that can be found in the refrigerator of every person who follows the principles of healthy and tasty nutrition.
If you still doubt that you can make something worthwhile from this variety of cabbage, we present to your attention a recipe for cream soup: we bet you have never tried such a delicious dish.
To prepare the dish you will need, of course, broccoli (0.5 kg), as well as:
Vegetables need to be washed, peeled and cut. Throw onions and carrots into a frying pan to fry them in vegetable oil until golden brown.
After this, pour water over the vegetables so that the liquid covers them by 2 cm, and cook for 10 minutes.
After this, add broccoli to the pan and continue cooking for about 5 more minutes.
Now get to work on making the creamy cheese sauce, for which you will need to melt the butter and fry the flour in it, then pour in the milk and cream and, stirring continuously, bring to a boil.
If lumps form, pass the sauce through a fine sieve.
Now add the grated cheese. Keep the sauce on low heat, stirring, until the cheese dissolves.
The final result is just a drop away: place the vegetables and sauce in a blender bowl and puree until smooth.
To serve, use toasted wheat croutons or a baguette, toasted and rubbed with garlic.
