Ingredients

  • mackerel - 2 pcs.;
  • salt - 3 tbsp;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp;
  • black peppercorns - 8 pcs.;
  • allspice peas - 6 pcs.;
  • bay leaves - 3 pcs.;
  • coriander - 1 pinch;
  • onions - 3 pcs.;
  • vegetable oil - 5 tbsp;
  • apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp;
  • water - 1 l.

You need to put the spices in a saucepan, pour boiling water over them and cook for about 5 minutes. Then you need to give the liquid time to cool.

The fish must be cleaned, cut into pieces and placed in a bowl or jar, then filled with brine.

The workpiece should be left at room temperature for two hours.

After this time, you need to mix the chopped and mashed onion, vinegar, oil, and pepper mixture in a separate container.

The preparation should be placed in the refrigerator for one and a half to two hours.
