There is an opinion that steak should be cooked in two stages, the first of which is frying, and the second is baking.
But if you use the recipe from this article, rest assured – you won’t even need an oven. The main thing is to have a good frying pan on hand, and you’ll be guaranteed a delicious steak.
So, let's get started. Take the meat out of the refrigerator in advance, pat it dry with paper towels, add salt and pepper, and leave it at room temperature for 30 minutes.
While the frying pan is heating up, use a culinary brush to brush the steak with refined oil and fry it on the hot surface for a minute on each side.
Helpful Hint: If your piece of meat is too thick, use tongs to press its sides into the pan.
Continue cooking the steak. The time it spends on the stove depends on the degree of doneness you choose.
Therefore, decide on the degree of doneness in advance, and during the cooking process, melt 0.5 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan.
This oil will be used to baste the steak. It wouldn't hurt to add a sprig of rosemary and a little garlic to the pan.
Wrap the fried steak in foil and wait 5-7 minutes - this is enough time for the heat to be evenly distributed and the juice to be absorbed into the fibers.
