However, it happens that many traditional recipes are forgotten for some reason.
If you want to treat yourself to a real Slavic dish, then you should definitely try this filling recipe.
- half a kilo of sauerkraut;
- 100-200 grams of champignons;
- one onion;
- spices at your discretion;
- refined oil.
Chop the onion and champignons. Put them in a well-heated frying pan with refined oil and cook until fully cooked.
You can use any mushrooms, but champignons are the easiest and most affordable option.
Sauerkraut should be drained of liquid and combined with fried mushrooms. You can taste the filling and evaluate which spices can improve it. No need to add salt, as the cabbage is already salty.
