Fresh onions have a bright taste and aroma that not everyone likes.
But if you marinate the vegetable, you end up with an excellent snack, a good addition to meat or salad.
Pickling onions is quite simple.
For 500 g of onion, you need to take about one liter of water, 200 g of honey and 500 ml of apple cider vinegar. In addition, it is advisable to prepare about 50 g of salt.
It is best to take two types of onions - onions and purple ones.
First, the onion should be chopped and then poured with boiling water. As soon as the liquid cools, it should be drained. Then you can add the remaining ingredients to the vegetable. The jar with the snack should be put in the refrigerator for 10 hours.
For one onion you should prepare a glass of water, a tablespoon of sugar, one and a half teaspoons of salt and 120 ml of table vinegar.
The vegetable should be cut and then filled with warm water with the other ingredients already added. The preparation should be left in the refrigerator for a day.
After this, the appetizer can be served.
