The cold season is strongly associated with special drinks that remind us of the approaching holidays, warm us up and surprise us with their rich taste.
One of these is milk punch.
The drink is quite simple to prepare, but even gourmets will be surprised at how wonderful the result will be.
- 30 ml of quality rum (can be replaced with tasty cognac);
- about 150 ml of milk with medium fat content;
- a pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon;
- a spoonful of sugar (if using cognac, use the vanilla option).
As you may have noticed, the list of products is not that big. However, the result will pleasantly surprise you. First, it is worth working with milk.
It needs to be put into a saucepan and heated. There is no need to bring the product to a boil: 80 degrees will be quite enough.
We put rum or cognac into the glass, "fill" it with sugar. Then it's milk's turn. At this stage it's better to stir the drink.
Add spices on top and begin tasting.
