To try a real julienne, you don’t have to go to Paris or a French restaurant.
The modern housewife has every opportunity to prepare this hot appetizer according to the classic recipe, and not the way it turns out with Olivier salad.
Classic julienne recipe.
1. Boil the chicken fillet in salted water, cut into cubes.
2. Clean the mushrooms, wash them and cut them into slices.
3. Peel the onion, cut into cubes, fry in butter until it becomes translucent, but not browned.
4. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
5. Fry the mushrooms together with the onions until the water evaporates.
6. Add flour, mix, add chicken meat, sour cream, salt and pepper to taste, and nutmeg.
7. Simmer over low heat for 2 minutes, place in pots, sprinkle with grated cheese and cook the julienne in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
