In Soviet times, there was a tasty and filling salad in the public catering system with the telling name “Passenger”.
You might think that it was served only in dining cars, but that's not true. The recipe was popular and quite simple.
1. Prepare the liver: remove the film, cut into strips, fry in vegetable oil for 10 minutes.
2. Peel and cut the onion into thin half rings, chop or grate the cucumber. Peel and grate the carrots.
3. Fry the onion and carrot in vegetable oil until the vegetables become soft.
4. Let the ingredients cool and place them in a salad bowl.
Season the salad with mayonnaise, add salt and pepper to taste, mix and serve.
