Many of us like to serve pickled vegetables, including delicious tomatoes, but to make them tasty, they need to be preserved properly.
It turns out that it is enough to add one of the cheapest and most popular pharmaceutical products – aspirin.
We suggest you take on board one interesting recipe – it is especially popular among summer residents.
Let's look into this issue in more detail.
Take a three-liter jar, a tablespoon of salt, three tablespoons of sugar, 60 ml of 9% vinegar, a bay leaf, eight black peppercorns and an aspirin tablet.
Wash the tomatoes and pierce them with a toothpick near the stalk. Pour boiling water over the jars and keep them in hot water for 5 minutes.
We put bay leaves and pepper into the jars. Then we fill the jars with tomatoes almost to the very top.
Boil water, pour salt, sugar and 60 ml of vinegar into the jars. Then put one aspirin tablet inside. Pour boiling water over, seal with lids, turn upside down and cover with a blanket.
After 24 hours, put the jars in a cool place. This recipe is suitable for those who do not want to waste time preparing the marinade.
