Many of us are used to rinsing pasta after cooking, since the product is not of high quality.

But now there is more choice in shops and supermarkets and some types are made from durum wheat.

This type of pasta should not be rinsed with warm water, as it does not contain enough starch to require rinsing.

But there are two cases when you can rinse the finished dish: if they are stuck together and need to be served right away, since they were boiled for a salad.

After rinsing, the taste of the pasta will change, but this can be corrected with spices, sauce, salt and regular pepper.

To prevent the pasta from sticking together, you can add a little vegetable oil to the pan during the cooking process. In this case, the finished product will not stick together and can be placed on a plate and served.

Note that if you don’t rinse the pasta and it’s a quality durum wheat option, it will taste better.
