The classic taste of buckwheat is familiar to many from childhood, since the recipe for preparing the cereal almost never changes.
However, with a slight adjustment to the technology, the taste of the side dish can be significantly improved.
First of all, we do it in the usual way: the product needs to be sorted and washed. Then it is worth pouring the prepared buckwheat into a convenient container and pouring in a sufficient amount of hot water (boiling water).
The cereal should be left in this form overnight. Buckwheat is kept in the refrigerator.
In the morning, you need to heat up a frying pan without oil and send the cereal to "dry". A few minutes will be enough. The buckwheat will change color and a pleasant nutty aroma will settle in the kitchen.
After this procedure, you can proceed to the usual cooking. Do not forget to add a little salt.
You will notice how much the taste of the cereal has changed. It will be more rich, bright and tasty. If desired, you can season the side dish with olive oil and spices when serving.
