We are used to preparing a large number of dishes from zucchini during the season.
Most often, we simply fry the vegetable or make pancakes from it.
These dishes have, of course, already become classics. So sometimes you want to try something new based on a familiar product.
For example, you can prepare a restaurant-quality side dish.
- 2 medium-sized zucchini;
- a piece of butter (about 50 grams);
- a little fresh thyme;
- a handful of fresh mint;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- salt and refined olive oil.
Vegetables should be cleaned completely and cut into fairly thin strips. Their length can reach ten centimeters, but the thickness should not exceed a couple of millimeters.
First, heat the oil and fry the whole garlic cloves. Remove the product after a few minutes: the main task is to soak the oil with a special aroma.
Add zucchini and thyme.
Fry the ingredients on medium heat for four minutes. Then reduce the heat, add the butter and mint. Stir and cook for a few minutes.
At the end, add salt. If desired, you can add other spices.
The garnish should be seasoned with lemon juice. It will be difficult to resist such an exquisite and tasty dish.
