We are used to the fact that only red tomatoes are harvested.

We "persuade" green vegetables to ripen, but do not marinate them. But Georgian housewives do it differently: on the contrary, they use mainly green tomatoes.

How to prepare delicious green tomatoes?

To begin with, you should select the tomatoes themselves, remove the stalk and make fairly deep cross-shaped cuts in this part.

Try not to get carried away and cut the tomatoes too deeply.

Then you need to fill the vegetables with a special filling. To do this, take 200 grams of celery stalks and parsley, fifty grams of dill, cilantro and basil. You also need to add about 50 grams of salt and a few cloves of garlic. It should be chopped with a knife. Those who like spicy food can add a couple more chopped chili or jalapeno.

We put the filling into the tomatoes and put the vegetables into sterilized jars. Pour in any marinade and roll up.

After just 14 days you can begin tasting.
