Rice is quite difficult to cook, because everyone loves an appetizing side dish that comes out crumbly and tasty.
However, it is rare to achieve what you want.
Often rice turns out stuck together and mushy. This happens mainly because we have not removed the starch from the grain, and also because we choose the wrong cooking technology.
For example, it is extremely difficult to prepare a decent side dish if you use a saucepan.
First, as with any other cooking method, you need to try to rinse the cereal as thoroughly as possible. This takes at least ten minutes.
After that, take any convenient frying pan, pour in refined olive oil and heat it. Send the rice itself, trying to lay it out in an even layer.
Spend a few minutes quickly frying, stirring regularly.
Pour in water (in the classic proportion of 1 to 2) and start cooking. The fire can be quite intense.
As soon as you notice that there is almost no liquid left, reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer the cereal for 15 minutes.
Next, turn off the stove, hide the rice under the lid for five minutes. After that, you can serve the rice to the table.
