Even if you don’t have many overgrown or crooked cucumbers, you shouldn’t throw them away.

Instead, you can pickle them to get an appetizer with the loud name "Kremlevskie cucumbers".

To do this, you need to wash the vegetables, cut off the ends and cut into circles, the thickness of which is approximately 2-4 cm.

Now transfer the resulting blanks into a suitable container.

Add here 3 tablespoons of salt, a glass of sugar, 3-4 heads of garlic (crushed) and 4 tablespoons of 70% vinegar essence (slightly less than half a glass of 9% vinegar).

Mix everything thoroughly and leave for 4-5 hours at room temperature.

During this time, it is worth stirring the cucumbers about once an hour. You can simply shake them to release the juice.

Now, fill the pre-sterilized jars tightly with the marinated cucumbers and close them with lids. You can use either nylon or screw caps.

Instead of brine, use the juice that was released while the cucumbers were pickling.
