But not everyone can please their guests and family members with a truly delicious shashlik.

The taste and texture of a dish often depend not only on the quality of the meat you buy, but also on the marinade.

Experienced cooks recommend using only two products for the marinade: onions and mayonnaise.

For a kilogram of meat, 3 onions are enough. They need to be cut into half rings and mixed with the meat.

It is advisable to add a little salt and spices if you want a brighter taste. It is worth noting that it is better to marinate pieces in glass or stainless steel containers.

Then the pieces need to be covered with mayonnaise, which will make them more tender and soft.

Once everything is mixed, the meat in this marinade should be placed in the refrigerator for several hours.

After three hours you can start grilling the shashlik.
