How to make delicious ketchup

You need to wash three kilograms of tomatoes, peel a head of garlic and one onion. Put these vegetables in a meat grinder until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Boil the resulting mixture for ten minutes. You will notice that juice has started to separate. It needs to be removed. The juice can be used for other dishes. You can also just drink it.

Then, using an immersion blender, we process our preparation. At this point, turn off the heat. Using a sieve, you need to clean the ketchup mass from the skin and seeds. This will make the ketchup taste richer and more uniform.

Add three large spoons of sugar, one small spoon of salt and mustard powder, one bay leaf, half a small spoon of any pepper or mixture to the mixture. In principle, spices can be added at your discretion.

Put the preparation back on the fire and cook for ten minutes. At the end, remove the bay leaf and add a quarter spoon of 70th vinegar and stir.

Ketchup can be rolled up in sterile containers. Until the ketchup cools down, the jars or bottles should be kept upside down. But you can even store the preparation in your apartment.
