Syrniki are usually prepared for dessert. Fresh fruits or berries, as well as dried fruits, are used as a filling.
Here is an interesting but forgotten recipe for cheesecakes with carrots. They say that this dish was often prepared by Soviet housewives.
The most important thing is to cook the carrots properly.
To do this, the vegetable must be washed, peeled and chopped with a blender or passed through a meat grinder.
Then the finished puree should be placed in a saucepan and heated to 90 degrees.
When ready, add 15 grams of semolina, stir and cook for 5-10 minutes.
If the puree is very thick or burns, you can add 1 tablespoon of water (boiled).
The cottage cheese needs to be rubbed through a metal sieve, then added to the carrot-semolina puree.
Next we add the chicken egg, sugar and flour.
The ingredients are mixed until a homogeneous mass is obtained, after which the cheesecakes can be formed, breaded in flour and fried in vegetable or butter.
Serve with sour cream.
Bon appetit!
